Big Ag

Current #45 named the box. This page names what reaches the plate before the plate: Big Ag. Seed. Chemistry. Scale. A field that has to feed a ship. The farmer in the field may care. The charter of the company that sells the input is still a return.

This is not a farm-bill Current. It is not a soil protocol. It is not a shopping-guide reprint. Eat still starts in the kitchen. Ag is the wing that decides what the kitchen is offered at a price the aisle can bear.

Pharma sells a code. Medical sells a visit. Insurance sells permission. Food sells a carton. Ag sells the conditions that make the carton cheap enough to win. Five wings. One score: profits over people when people and profit part company. A family farm is not the enemy. A 10-K is not a grandmother.

Do not turn this page into a pesticide sermon or a regenerative membership. Notice what you can name on the plate. That is as far as this Current goes.

Keep Eat. Keep the kitchen. If a question is about your own land or your own body, take it to someone licensed who knows that ground. The file on you waits for Big Brother. The field is not that file.

You are not behind if you never farmed. You are not too late. Your mills are still minting every second of every day. Feed them what they already know. The ship will still be in the channel tomorrow.

Will you see Big Ag as the wing that reaches the plate before the plate — and still keep Eat as the day? The answer is yours. You can take it. You can leave it. No one can take it for you.

If you take it, name tonight’s food without the carton if you can. That is Big Ag, seen as business. That is Eat, kept as the Program.

If you want to keep learning, keep flowing with our Currents. Big Brother is next.
